High Voltage Cabling Delivery Project Manager- (M62 Corridor, Leeds-Manchester)
£40,000- £45,000 Per annum + car (or allowance) + Benefits
Role Description
Our client is a Multi Disciplined Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor, seeking a High Voltage Project Manager to work 'in house' on National Power Supply Upgrade Projects. The current contracts are operating on the M62 Corridor between Leeds and Manchester. Reporting into the Construction Manager, the responsibility of the Project Manager covers; -Overseeing all Cabling Installation Packages on Civil/Construction Projects -Projects include; Power Upgrades, Sub stations -Managing Sites from inception to completion -Liaising with the Design team on delivery issues and alterations -Managing the client relationship with Government funded organisations.
Required Background The Project Manager MUST come from a HV Cable installation background, on Civil/Construction Sites. You will have worked for a main contractor in the past as a Project Manager dealing directly with National Power upgrade Projects and Clients. Preferably candidates will be electrically qualified to either Degree or HNC/HND level. Successful candidates will be motivated by delivering successful projects and the personal skills to manage client relationships.
Salary and Benefits This role offers a generous salary and package culminating of £40,000- £45,000 basic salary (dependant on experience and competency at interview), a car (or allowance) and Pension Scheme.
Client Profile Our client is a prestigious multi disciplined Civil Engineering, Construction Contractor turning over approximately £0.5 Billion per annum. They currently hold a number of framework agreements with major Power Clients working on the Design and Build of High Voltage Sub stations. To maximise profitability they are building a HV Cabling team to create a 'one stop shop' for clients.
