Train Systems Technician - London

This is a shift based role.
Our client are a leading train manufacturer within the UK and they require multiple Train Systems Technicians to work out of North West & North East London.
Role Description
The main purpose of this position will be to successfully introduce the ''S'' Stock to the Sub Surface Line Depot's. This will involve the maintenance support to the pre-series trains and providing technical support to the fleet by training and coaching the customer's trainers and maintenance staff. This will include providing advanced fault diagnosis, assist the performance team with the reliability improvement initiatives and auditing the customers on their training and maintenance techniques.
You will work with the production team to develop skills and systems specific knowledge for the new trains. Support commissioning, data download, special check, verification of VMI/VMP's. warranty, reliability growth activities & carry out planned maintenance for pre service trains.
Deliver maintenance training and coaching to depot staff both in the classroom and on-the-job to enable them to maintain the trains to vehicle maintenance instructions and procedures.
Required Experience
Candidates wishing to apply for the role must have a minimum qualification of HNC in electronic / systems engineering and be qualified to D32 assessor or equivalent.
Candidates must have previous experience of working on modern rolling stock units.
