We are recruiting for a Technician for the DT department for a full time role at a school in the borough of Lewisham. The school are looking for an individual who will be able commit until the end of the academic year possibly longer. The school is part of a group of schools in the area and has benefitted in the last year from extensive restructure and invest in new facilities and improving school processes and policy. You will be required to support the teaching staff in the department, ensure that stores and materials are re-ordered and the rooms kept in good order. You will need to demonstrate curriculum experience to GCSE as a minimum; the school follows the curriculum in Resistant Materials, Graphics and Textiles. Successful candidates will not need to have experience in all areas. Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position: - You must have good spoken English; - You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience; - Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained; - You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting; - This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
